Having a partner with no tolerance for the BS is definitely a protective factor! I agree about the mental health system contributing to the vulnerability that some people will have. I personally think AI will come for the neurotypicals, too, in different ways and that to be ND alone isn't enough of a risk factor. Based on experience/what I've learned, my working hypothesis is that risk will come from type of use, predisposition drift into to fantasy, attachment style, and brain development stage (as in younger people are more at risk). It will be interesting to see how longitudinal studies reflect the patterns, but unfortunately I'm not sure waiting 20 years is the best plan we can have. I don't have as much personal data in my AI, most of what you have written you do but not all, as I feel more protective of my physical health information than mental health but I do have mine trained to check me regularly be in it from spiraling from perfectionism, going to deep into rabbit holes, or just being lazy sometimes lol like telling it to just do something that I've already said I wanted to do myself. It helps. But big tech can't be counted on to put on the guardrails, and certainly not the government either, instead I think we're all going to have to help each other build them.
